The shadow clad on the exterior of this house in Old Eagle Heights had been previously sprayed on it's intial paint job. The paint was thin and in some places had only one coat with no primer. Some of the cladding had bowed due to this and the house had suffered due to the rushed painting job it had received when first built.
The original paint work in the picture below
We applied two coats of Dulux weathershield in the same colour colourbond deep ocean to the cladding and filled and fixed what we could. The timber was so dry that the first coat was sucked into the cladding and required a good heavy second coat with a long nap roller to give the protection it needed. We also repainted the soffits in Dulux weathershield low sheen in a match colour to what was applied previously. The window surrounds we applied 2 coats of Dulux weathershield in the colour of colourbond surfmist to also match what was applied previously.
The house came up great with the Dulux weathershield paint where before the paint was flat and lifeless. The Weathershield low sheen provided life and a great sheen to the shadowclad and provided the cladding with life.
